I’m going to Vienna in late April.
Yep. I’m getting on a plane (actually several) and going to Vienna. I’m trying to wrap my mind around it. Other than a few hours in Mexico when I was only 13 and didn’t even need a passport for the trip, I’ve never left the US. I haven’t even seen most of the US. I have wanderlust stored up in my bones, but I never really act on it.
Until now.
I’m sure this sounds like I woke up and threw caution to the wind, spun around my globe and, blindfolded, placed my finger down and said, “This is the place!”
It went nothing like that. If you believed that for one second, you should get to know me better. I’ll help by blogging. 🙂
I’m going to Vienna for two weeks as part of Webster University’s Global Staff Exchange. Webster has a campus in Vienna, and I’m going to work in the Writing Center there.
To say I’m excited is an understatement. I’m so excited I don’t know where to begin. I guess I’ll just jump in where I am and see how it goes.
I’ll keep you posted.

Woo-hoo! I’m jealous!
Thanks! I’m nervous but super excited.
That is such an exciting opportunity! Make sure to take lots of pictures.
Absolutely! You’ll be tired of looking at them by the time I’m finished. 🙂
