Y’all, I actually completed a writing course!  I have about a thousand more to complete (that I’m already registered for, mind you) but I’m going to focus on this victory and celebrate just a little.

And how will I celebrate?  By telling you another lesson from my class.

Write 10 ideas down every day.  They can be 10 ideas about anything – what I want to get my kids for their birthdays, books to read, ways to be modern-day Renaissance woman, whatever.  And then use those ideas for my writing, or not.  The point is to get into the habit of generating ideas.  Which is pretty cool.

What’s also pretty cool is that you have been cheering me on in my writing journey.
