I had things I was going to write about – things I had been thinking about and composing in my head for the past several days. You absolutely were going to get a post (or two, to be honest) about these things.
Then I ran across a new word. Honestly, I run across unfamiliar words fairly regularly in my reading, but this word made me stop and smile. And it compelled me to write this post.
Poltroonery.
It means cowardice.
Thank you, Alexander Dumas, for writing The Three Musketeers and making my life so much richer for the reading.
