Teachers,
I just knew the home-made Mother’s Day gifts this year would be a repeat of last year’s macaroni massacre. I was, therefore, refreshingly surprised to receive two beautifully glittered drawings, a plant in a decorated water bottle, a touching poem, and two picture frames filled with drawings and bejeweled with puzzle pieces and glitter. While I do have a penchant for glitter, these gifts were sweet, heartfelt, and pretty. I’m proud to keep them and happy the teachers understood my unspoken plea.
Thankfully eating crow,
