Lord, sometimes I wonder if it’s worth it.  The “it” to which I refer changes moment by moment, but even with my ever revolving door of “it”s, I wonder.  I know it’s worth it, whatever and whenever the it is, if it brings You glory.  If it helps my family.  If it encourages someone.  If it makes the world a better place.  Knowing that it is worth it, however, doesn’t always help my heart and my will push past hurt and disappointment.  Help me to see you in every situation, Lord, and fill me with Your joy, which is the strength I need to press on.  In Jesus’ name, I pray.  Amen.
