I know I’m not the only one who has looked at a box of cereal and thought, This would make lovely earrings. This actually isn’t a cereal box, though. It’s a Jell-O box. I went to pull the cereal box out of the pile (everyone has a pile of random cardboard items waiting to be conscripted into craft projects, right?) but saw the Jell-O box and knew it would be a better starting size.

For my first attempt, I covered the cutout circle in Mod Podge and dumped the hole punches (you remember the hole punches, yes?) on it like confetti. The result was a hot mess.

I’m pleased with my second attempt, however. I still have a ways to go, but eventually these particolored discs will be earrings.

And that’s my bit of creativity for today.
