Many of you know I enjoy writing stories about my kids and wrote copiously about them from about the ages of 5 & 7 (they’re 2 years apart) and 9 & 11. I’ve compiled several of the stories into something that is approaching a book, and I thought I’d start trying my hand at cover design. This image is not quite what I want, but I think it’s approaching it. I’m looking for something simple and cartoonish or stick figure-ish. I don’t like the hair on the image for TB, for example, but that was the best I could find on my free Canva account. I’ll keep trying. If you’ve got ideas, I’m all ears – please let me know what you think in the comments.
