I made some masks out of this fabric for a friend a couple weeks ago, and my husband suggested I make one for myself to match the scarf and skirt I made. So I did.

I am basically my mother at this point.

She believed in making as much out of a piece of fabric as she could. I distinctly recall having a matching red plaid set that included a hat, vest, jacket, Bermuda shorts, pants, and skirt. I’m not sure what else I might make, but I still have fabric, so something else will come. I’ll keep you posted.

When you see me in my head to toe matching ensemble, looking like 1980 walking down the street, just smile.

And that’s my bit of creativity for today.
