I watched (and rewatched a few times) a video by Cherry Cheeks Designs that illuminated tatting for me.

I didn’t get every stitch right, but I sure got some of them right. I got so jubilant after I successfully created one stitch that I pulled the whole project so tight I had to start over.

And that is my triumphant bit of creativity for today.
