I decided to give coloring another try, since, apparently, I was enjoying myself too much with learning to tat and felt like tormenting myself.

I couldn’t take the torment of a physical coloring book and colored pencils, however, so I decided to download a color-by-number app.

Coloring on the app was a bazillion times better than physically coloring, but I didn’t get to make any creative choices (except selecting a design), nor did I get to learn and hone any skills.  You know what?  That is not true.  I did get to learn and hone skills.

It took a few tries just to figure out how to get the thing to work.  Then I honed how I looked for the next space to color.  I learned I had to enlarge the image to see where all of the colors go.  I also learned that I really enjoy watching the animated progression provided after completion that shows how I moved through my  coloring efforts.

All in all, I enjoyed the experience.

And that’s my bit of creativity for today.
