Waves, Part 2

Every year I get a fractals wall calendar. I love the beautiful designs, and I love that they stem from equations.

I usually hang onto my old calendars for a few months when I get new ones every year, because I want to do something with them worthy of the beauty and joy they bring, but I inevitably wind up discarding them.

I decided to change that pattern this year.

I’m taking two pages from the 2019 calendar, of gorgeous blues and greens and purples and grays, and punching them with my hole punch. I plan to glue the punched holes to my wave drawing to fill it in.

I feel like Seurat with my reconfigured stab at pointillism.

This will clearly take me the rest of my natural life. I’ll keep you posted.

And that’s my bit of creativity for the day.
