I tell people often that I like them. I tell them that because it’s true, but they often seem wary of my profession of like.  I suppose I can understand their mistrust of my statement, because it often comes after they have done something silly.  But in my defense, I also tell people after they have done something nice.  I think people just aren’t used to hearing they are liked.
