Dear Blank Please Blank (DBPB),

I discovered you through My Life Is Average (MLIA).  I discovered MLIA through my students.  I discovered a wide array of other things through my students including People of Wal-Mart and Benny Lava, but I digress.

I knew I wasn’t the only one who wanted to memorialize my life with letters I will never send.  I’m actually encouraged that people have things to say that they feel warrant letters.  While I found a lot of ridiculousness on your site, I also found posts that were funny, heartfelt, and insightful.  Odd that we call missives posts that will never be posted, but I digress again.

Letter writing is a lost art, and I’m glad we’re bringing it back.
