I love looking through windows.

Sometimes I see traffic; sometimes I see children at play.  Other times I might spy an early bird or a vibrant sunset.

And every now and then, once darkness has taken up residence and I go to close the curtains on the night, I peer into the pitch sky and simultaneously see myself faintly superimposed on external images, forcing me to reflect on my Creator and my place in His creation.

When life overwhelms me, I just need to turn toward a window and watch life unfold to gain perspective and peace.
