We recently took a family portrait for our church directory.  We made sure the kids looked good.  Chris gave TB a fresh haircut.  I washed and styled TG’s hair.  Their clothes were sharp.  We were all color coordinated, and then….

And then Chris realized he too needed a haircut, but there wasn’t time for one before the sitting.  I realized I too needed to wash and style my hair, but there wasn’t time before the sitting.  And when I was putting on my makeup, I recognized that I needed to get my eyebrows threaded.

Although we always make time for our children, it’s easy to forget to make time for ourselves.

Fortunately we clean up well.
