I just want to give a shout out to all of the artists, arts educators, arts workers, and arts lovers out there.  Without music, dance, painting, calligraphy, literature, drama, horticulture, photography, gastronomy, and all of the other arts that I couldn’t possibly begin to name, we would have virtually no representative way of understanding our world and our place in it.

Thank you for clinging to your passions, continuing to share them with the world, and instilling them into our children.
