Elvis is one smart guinea pig.

He will push his pellet bowl over to the edge of his cage and then stand on it to tip it over, in order to spill his pellets on the floor.  Then he will right the bowl and stand on it in order to beg us for lettuce.  Lettuce.  Always lettuce.  And it has to be green leaf lettuce.

I’m not making this up.  I couldn’t if I wanted to.
