I think this concept bears repeating.

TG starts middle school on Monday.

Yes, my little girl is old enough to start middle school next week.  I’m having a hard time wrapping my mind around that.

But what I’m not having a hard time wrapping my mind around is the excitement I’m feeling about the school she will be attending.  Hawthorn Leadership School for Girls is the first public, all-girls STEM school in Missouri.

I believe this will be a wonderful opportunity for TG and that she will have a year full of learning and development.  I can’t wait to watch her blossom as she grows to embody the meaning of the school name, as the hawthorn blossom is the official flower of the state of Missouri.
