Lady in the Bathroom,
While you and your toddler son were in the stall, I could overhear your conversation. You seemed like a good mom, answering his questions while keeping him on the task at hand.
I noticed he desperately wanted to flush the toilet, but you wouldn’t let him. “Yucky,” you said. “It’s dirty,” you said.
I wondered from my stall if you were setting yourself up for heartache later. Can’t you just keep his hands away from his mouth and face until after he washes them? If you don’t make him flush now, will he always think toilet handles are disgusting and refuse to flush all toilets forever?
Then when the two of you walked out without so much as a glance toward the bank of sinks, I realized why you didn’t want him to touch the toilet handle.
Gross,

I find it both frightening and gross the amount of times that I have seen women leave a public restroom without washing their hands…..both adult women and adult women with children. I always wonder what other bad habits these mothers are teaching their children. Yuck.
Oh no! I hadn’t even thought of other bad habits. Probably none. Let’s just go with none.
