The Girl recently made a thing.  Honestly, I’m not sure what it was supposed to be, but this conversation ensued after she made it.

TG: Do you think this will fly?
The Boy: No
TG: That wasn’t very encouraging.
Me: Why does he have to be encouraging?
TG: Because.
Me: If you want encouraging, then don’t ask yes or no questions.
TG: You think this will fly, right?
TB: No.
TG: I don’t know why you’re not being encouraging.
Me: Because you keep asking him yes or no questions.
TG: You think this will fly, don’t you?
TB: No.
TG: You still aren’t being encouraging.
Me: But he is being honest.
