I overheard the following exchange between the boy and the girl.
The Girl (with a lilt): I’m famous! Oh yeah. I’m famous. The Boy: No you’re not. You’re not famous. TG: Yes I am famous. TB: Michael Jackson is famous. God is famous. You? You’re not famous. TG: Yes I am famous. TB: No one even knows who you are. TG: Lots of people know who I am.(If only she knew how many.)
TG: All of my relatives know who I am. TB: No they don’t. We have relatives we’ve never even met. Like dead ones. They don’t know who you are. Lots of people have to know who you are to be famous. TG: Well, I’m famous to the people who know me. TB: You are NOT famous. Got it? Got it. TG: I am famous to people who don’t know anybody famous. Which makes me famous. Yes! I’m famous!
